Current Project
The 6th grade students at Linden STEM Academy will explore ideas of peace, from inner peace, to world peace, to peace in art and music. We will learn how we can be a stand for peace in our school, home, community and inner self. We will learn about peacemakers worldwide and conflict resolution for personal disputes. We will work with a local professional mural artist (commissioned by Parks and Rec as well as local businesses) to design a mural illustrating our visions of peace. The mural will be painted in the school and eventually in a visible place in the community. We will finalize the project with an "unveiling" event designed to promote peace in the community and to highlight the creativity of Linden Leopard artists!
